kate Walsh - Bio

Kate has been involved with volleyball for 11 years. She started playing in the 3rd grade and she continued to play for her high school (St. Vincent- St. Mary), her JO teams (Volleyfreak Jr., Player's Choice, and Club Extreme), and she played for her university club team (University of Akron). Kate has also had the joy of her high school team winning runner up in districts and receiving a gold, silver and bronze medal with her JO teams (two of those medals were earned with Club Extreme). Kate has also enjoyed her three years of coaching her elementary school 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams. While pursuing her volleyball career, Kate has also maintained her schooling career. Kate graduated high school with a 3.83 GPA and she is currently pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Kate is very excited to become a Physical Therapist as well as coaching her volleyball team for the 2013-2014 JO season.
