William Gill brings extensive club and high school volleyball experience to Club Extreme, with a coaching background spanning junior Olympic club competition, varsity and freshman high school programs, and club leadership. He has served as Assistant Club Director while head coaching and assisting across multiple age groups in the Ohio Valley Region.
At Club Extreme Volleyball, William has coached in the Junior Olympic program for multiple seasons at the Massillon Recreation Center. He has led regional-level teams at the 15U and 16U levels, including a 2015 16 Regional team that qualified for the Gold–Silver–Copper–Bronze bracket at OVR Regional Championships. In 2016 he was promoted to Assistant Club Director, supporting player registration and databases, website updates, fundraisers, uniform selection, tournament and practice scheduling, picture day, tryout organization, and coverage of practices and tournaments as needed.
William's high school coaching includes three years as head varsity coach at Our Lady of the Elms in Akron (2016) and head freshmen coach at Springfield High School (2015). He also assisted Club Extreme with spirit-wear orders, open tryouts for 12–18 & Under teams, and tournament scheduling during the 2015 club season.
His practices emphasize skill instruction, conditioning integrated into drills, offensive systems (5-1 and 6-2), and rotational defense within efficient 90-minute sessions. Earlier experience includes assistant coaching 15 Regional teams with Elite Sports Ohio (2010–2011).
William is CPR and First Aid certified, Concussion certified, and holds USAV SafeSport, IMPACT, and ASEP certifications through the Ohio Valley Region, along with a State of Ohio Pupil Activity Permit. He also served as a foster parent with Summit County Children Services (2006–2012).
